For this month, we here at OSR are proud to bring you our buddy Bugsy’s rad flatty he calls, “Lil’ G”. Bugsy and I go way back, and he’s been a big supporter of OSR. He has done the majority of the art work on flyers and t-shirts, he’s always been there to bounce ideas off of for what we’re doing, and spent countless hours helping out at our swapmeet booths.
He picked up a running flatty off of Craigslist in Tucson, by way of Washington. It was a raked out fat bob chopper, but the motor had low miles on a fresh rebuild and served as a great starting point for what he wanted…A fun little bike to fart around the Ol’Pueblo, jump back and forth to his shop(Machine Age Tattoo), that was loosely based on a race style. Over about nine months tinkering with it in his garage, he got the frame back to somewhat stock, made the tanks, bars, risers, fender strut/tail light(which I think turned out super cool), shifter and countless other “brackets, mounts and a bunch o’ bull shit that isn’t cool”, according to Bugsy. Oh yeah, he painted it too! Bugsy claims his favorite thing about the bike is how its “so scary fast and might be the fastest thing on the street”, but I think he might be messin’ with me. Ya never Know. Next time you’re in town, stop by Machine Age and check it out in person. It’s a neat little scoot thats worth a look! Nice Job Bugsy!!
